I went to the Woodland Park Zoo today. What you're looking at is a Orangutan pressed up against the glass of his enclosure looking directly into the eyes of a little blonde girl visiting with her family.
I thought for a moment about the invisible wall that kept them inches from each other. At least until I caught his gaze and realized they'd touched each other afterall. Photo by Jared Rogers
