In 1889, John Muir described Mount Rainier’s Paradise area as “...the most luxuriant and the most extravagantly beautiful of all the alpine gardens I ever beheld in all my mountain-top wanderings.” This image captures only a part of the magnificence of Mount Rainier National Park as the winding trail leads hikers towards Camp Muir. What seperates the amateur's from the pro's is the ability to take a picture of yourself taking a picture......... Seriously though! =) I make a policy of NOT uploading mobile pictures to Flickr. But this one had to be an exception. Tonight I had a great unexpected adventure and had a great time. I struck out alone though to grab a few shots of the sun setting and I had to send this picture to the family. I think it captures the my moment even better then the real camera did.
